Prince Kuhio Plaza - An Entertainment and Shopping Hub in the Big Island of Hawaii

Prince Kuhio Plaza - Hilo, HawaiiPrince Kuhio Plaza is a retail, dining and entertainment complex in Hilo, Hawaii. It is the largest and only enclosed shopping mall in the Big Island area. The complex consists of a single-level central mall building and a number of outlying buildings.

The main building  is occupied by anchor tenants, namely, Sears, Macy's and Sports Authority. A variety of stores selling all sorts of merchandise including apparel, housewares, music , books, sports equipment, toys and electronics are located are located in the outlying buildings. Some of the well-known tenants include American Eagle Outfitters, Payless Shoe Source, Radio Shack, GNC, Hilo Hattie, Jeans Warehouse and Big Island Surf Co.

There is also a nine screen movie theatre complex called Prince Kuhio Stadium Cinemas. Dining establishments include popular fast food chains such as McDonalds, Arby's, KFC, Jamba Juice and Starbucks.

Prince Kuhio Plaza forms the core retail area of Hilo and its suburbs, alongside Waiākea Centre across the street.

The shopping complex is named after Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana'ole (1871–1922) who served as Congressional Delegate from 1903 to 1922. It is located at 111 East Puainako Street in Hilo and is open daily at the following hours:

Friday-Saturday
10:00am-9:00pm

Sunday
10:00am-6:00pm
